    Uhoh...

    this is the poster to look at

    The right two columns are lyrics to a song that will be sung. Certain parts of the lyrics are marked yellow, some green.

    In the first column the red letters say "___ GESTURES". Then a yellow bar that says "Appeal time" and it lists two gestures: small clap and cheer. Then a green bar that says "Premium Appeal" and the two gestures under it are cheer and agree.

    Okay, here's how to play the game thanks to Devowa and Cherie...

    You have to be in the audience area of the Macross Lounge. During the event a song will play. During the song you will see the symbol from skull squadron on the lower left of your screen. Next to it will be a line from the song with a gesture indicated in brackets. You have to repeat that gesture when you see an icon on the top right of your screen. The icon is either a heart icon or a ranka icon. (ranka is the girl with green hair). When you see the icon, do the emote. But don't do it when you don't see an icon, cause that penalizes you.

    Oh, and you probably need to wear that ranka support jacket.

      The emotes you need for today are:

      賛成する = nod or agree
      控えめな拍手 = mild clap (not applause)
      応援する = cheer

      It's almost all just CHEER

      Thx FF and faga for all the info--I just stood there and cheered at one point and got an A, but didnt receive anything. I got some yen today, but really would rather not spend 500 on one shirt if it doesnt require that. Do you know if you can get the bandana if you just have the hand fan or wristbands? Im just assuming I didnt get the reward item because I wasnt wearing something...???

      The grading system seems odd. Some people stood there and did nothing and got an A, some people didn't. Some people did the gestures perfect, but still got a B. It seems alot of mixed factors gets into the grade.

      Hopper,
      Did you wait till the end of the concert? You won't get it instantly when the grades get posted.

      Thx faga. Yes, in fact I waited there until the next one started and got an A again. It seemed strange to me that I never really saw a "concert"...are they short presentations? I just saw the timer at the top of big screen count down to 0 and then it said "STARTUP" and people began cheering so I did the same. There were silver sparkles around the stage and laser lights going. An "A" came up and then after a couple of more screens it went to the countdown timer again starting at about 3 mins. I'm not even sure that I saw the actual "event" lol

      oh... it could be because you need to stay in the bleachers. The top deck may not count to get the reward.

      Ahhh ok--I never went down into the bleachers...maybe that was why! Thanks a lot--I'll have to try it again. Hope I get lucky enough to get an A again lol

      I bought nothing and did most? of the gestures including point and was awarded a headband, finally. When I tried much earlier this morning it didn't show the Frontier Logo on the bottom right of the screen and I did not see cut scenes like I did this time.

      EDIT: I was standing just inside the top rail this time. Earlier a was just outside the top rail.

      A bunch of us were trying it early this morning and couldn't score anything but B every time. We seemed to be frantically switching between clapping, nodding, pointing and mostly cheering. I know that I wasn't wearing any Macross items so maybe I was wasting my time. I'm not spending 500 yen on a clothing item to experiment. I did spend that amount on the new Hudson personal space and it's quite nice.

      You don't need the clothing to get the bandana, but you do need a certain amount of people in your instance that are performing the event correctly. The more people that are doing the event correctly, the easier to get an A grade. If the people in your instance are just standing around doing nothing, it makes it harder for the rest.

      Its all so strange--I was there with several other people earlier and some got an A grade and the item (I know Recca and Karen did) while I was cheering right next to them also and got a B grade and no item. Hard to figure, but I'll try again later. Thx for the info about being beneath the railing faga--that was what went wrong earlier when I actually did get 2 A's, but no reward item. This is all a very good example of my luck with these things. lol

      I believe they take in a mixture of individual and group effort. Not really sure how they're doing the calculation though. There were reports where people did nothing, but still got an A. Either the group did really well, or there's a bug.
