Now for the teasers— First up, we have a brand new developer coming to Home next week—BIGYAMA! Below is a hint of what’s to come. We expect big things from this talented new group of artists and developers who are coming Home. This week, you might start to see some folks sporting these items a little early, so keep your eyes peeled…. And finally, as the release of Midway 3 is ever getting closer. Here are some official shots to spark the excitement.
Lockwood hair, x7 preview and free item and midway 3 sneak peek yay Gonna buy like $3 or $4 on midway tickets to prepare myself.
A disappointing update with VEEMEE's mentally handicapped version of Kung Fu. The only bright spot would be Big Yama and Medusa.
Great to see another new developer headed to home, I'll look forward too seeing what content they bring in the future.
Bigyama | Console and Social Games Hello – we’re Bigyama a team of game developers with a shared passion for making games and worlds that a player can lose themselves in and feel attached to. That’s the type of game we’re striving to make and why we decided to start our own company. It’s a long road ahead and I’m sure we’ll make all types of games as we get closer and closer to building our ideal games. As a team we have a lot of experience on PlayStation Home, if you’ve played a few games in Home it’s quite likely that at some point someone here has worked on it. Home has a lot to offer developers as a platform – it’s social, fast to develop for, widely available and has a strong involved community. Before Bigyama we worked at other PlayStation Home development studios (and other console and PC game developers) but felt we wanted to strike out and try our own thing. Taking that type of plunge can be quite daunting but we’re glad we did and excited about what we can bring to Home in the future. We also have experience with console, web and mobile development and we’ll be pushing content to those platforms too. As a team we have a great mix of backgrounds; some come from the world of first person shooters, some from tactics and RPG games, from puzzle and social games but we all believe that our games shouldn’t just have great gameplay they should also have great believable game worlds and story. That’s what we strive to bring to everything we make. When we develop for Home we want to make fantastic worlds and take advantage of Home’s big strength – the social aspect. We always want to give options for you to see how your friends are doing, play together and help each other as you play. As for our upcoming projects we really like the sci-fi setting with a slightly western feel, a universe full of danger, risk and excitement. We’d like to bring some aspects of this to Home. How great would it be to fly through space or storm a alien space-craft on a secret mission with your friends? We also think more day to day settings are a great place for games that haven’t been explored enough. Places like a cruiseship abandoned floating in the fog, full of unexplained mysteries, the more you discover the greater the number hints that something shocking and sinister is waiting to be uncovered! Games have developed from a fire and forget type approach to something that changes and improves long after the release date. Community feedback is vital for this kind of development and something that’s very important to us. In the coming months we’ll be putting out furniture and clothing in Home and we invite you to give us feedback through email and twitter. We’ll paying close attention to what people like and using that information to help us decide what to do next. Some of our PlayStation Home items are coming out very soon, so if you want to know more about them then you can follow us on twitter or join the mailing list on the sidebar to the right. The possibilities are endless and we’re just getting started!
This sounds like a pretty boring update. This only thing I might care about is the new x7 stuff. WHERE IS MIB?
Ever heard of the Hot Zone ? No? Well lucky the Boss told me I could share these pictures then eh Well now you have. It is a nice location that sits perfectly between all 3 of the Midways. As you can see from this next picture. And finally here is a picture of the main Hot Zone area. As you can see it has access to all three Midways and also a nice teleport A potty to Darla's Den. This Area will be released with Midway3. Thanks for checking out these pictures, and see ya in Home.
