New free companion at Lockwwood Showcase

Yes you can turn the companion labels off, as sam mentioned. I was so glad when I found that option awhile back.

I rarely use companions although now that they will follow you I am more likely to use them. Thank you. I'll give that a try.

 

where do you go to do this?

 

Does that just turn off the label in your perspective when you look at your or someone else's companion? Or does this shut off labels on your companions, regardless of who is looking at them?

Its only turns off all the portable items ID for you, others will need to turn them off in their settings if they no longer wish to see them.

 

Looks kinda cool. I'm not that crazy about companions myself, but i still like working for free companions that are available! Looking forward to finding it when I get back from my trip.

 

What you do is get yr companion out and then go into shop on your nav bar, the companion stays there without you, good fun when you friends walk away from your companion and an innocent bystander sees the companion remain there

 

That sounds like fun. But what I've observed is that when someone enters the Nav store, their Companion goes invisible too. The difference is that the invisible Companion is targettable and you can read About and/or Hide it while the person is shopping.

Incidentally until Sony fixes the issues with memory allocation, I'd be cautious about buying/downloading store stuff while having a Companion active. Just saying it's better to be safe than sorry.

I not sure if its still available or not, but when you enter the main doors of the showcase turn to your right and you will see the dancing penguin.

 

There's about 5 or 6 different rewards that can appear in the Lockwood Showcase. Only one appears per day. It alternates. And the reward changes each day at about 7PM EST.

But if Shimmer is available, you will see it inside the main display room, along the right wall, about 10 feet up in the air. Just go underneath Shimmer if you see it for the reward.

 

Hmm I'm just wondering if Shimmer the Magenta Fairy is actually the mystery reward (6th) Anyone know?

 

where is the lockwood showcase located? Im in the US if that helps and i got another ? I accidently quit my quest for the take it all in and now when i go back to it it wont even let me click back on it, ive cleared my cache n restarted psh n my ps3 n it still wont let me except the quest. What can i do? I wanna finish it but i dont think i can.

 

It can be found in the a-z public space secition in the navigator.
