Tomorrow (Wed., Nov. 12th, 2014) is the final PlayStation Home update and madmunki is releasing the Neotopia Hub Apartment. The apartment was built from the concept work created for the Neotopia Kickstarter campaign, ultimately at the suggestion of the community as a way to raise funds to further the dream of Neotopia. See the Wall of The Founders, gaze at the Philanthropist(s) Statues and find what's yet to be seen! Comes with the Neotopia Flag LMO, t-shirts and sandwhich board (gifted to anyone who visits the apartment) and contains 15 picture hooks. This historic publish also sees the final Update to Spunland which introduces a new reward (an Uncle Spun head which is a head as oposed to a full-body suit), the final Spun Crown for the Coronations - the 'Secret' Crown (you will have to figure out how to win it) and some changes to the Shop Maze. From what the sony tech told me when I called, was home will be no more and might be on a back burner in case the new neotopia place dones not pan out, he hinted that they may revisit it. Asking about the money I spent being lost and all the stuff being gone the tech told me it was like buying something to eat at a restaurant and expecting it to always be there WTF? REALLY? that's what he said, i'm sure if you read the agreement most NEVER read, it will state something to the issue of we have no rights to keep the fake clothes . Anyway I am sooooo PO , If Barbie decides to stop making ALL Barbie stuff they don't come into our homes and take back all the Barbie stuff we bought for our daughters ? DO THEY? Sony at this point will not answer any questions regarding refund or good faith rewards like maybe FREE ACCOUNTS IN THE NEW NEOTOPIA? no they want us to pay more money now (in hope ) they get it to work, if not ...YOU LOSE AGAIN! no refunds. They want like 8,000 bucks for a premo slot in fake land (neotopia) and you get a statue of your Avatar in the new hub. . OMG , are they kidding , this is so wrong in so many ways, I would be happy if the let us download all we bought to our PS so at least we could enjoy the stuff we paid for. This smells, instead of fixing what we already have , they want to put out new problems and they don't even have the money to start it up ? REALLY? sounds like Obama care LAWL . Mark my words my friends, if it flies , you will spend money while they add more and more content and code, it will get worse and get bogged down by greedy developers and then when they release PS5 or 6 they will DUMP NEOTOPIA too , and all that money we spent will be gone to. I'm now boycotting Sony, Playstation, and Neotopia and will spend NO MORE MONEY til they do something for US, We the loyal consumers that bought all their FAKE CRAP for years. Your reply is full of views based off wrong information. First up neotopia is not an Sony project, its by an 3rd party that just happens to want to put it on the PS4. Due to that, they can also put it on PC, Xbox and so on if they so wish, they can even put it on the PS5 if/when it comes out. As for refunds its real easy, you agreed to them terms of use when you started to use Home, so you agreed to the risks. What you and others are doing is pointless, because you agreed to it, just the same as you agreed on your xbox that you get no refunds for dlc and online games if MS picked to shut down.
yes but i STILL have the DLCs and games and such , if they would allow us to have off line content so the kids could at least play dress up and enjoy all the money spent then well NO complaints, but they wont , and they cant , and it just seems wrong to treat customers like this, you cant expect them to pay for the same stuff and lose it all again. im over it , its the kids that r broken. I think the name of this blog should be kept ever after sony's home will be closed, home is home where we live even we will go other places.but this is my view, I will respect our leader's decisin.

Anyway "My" leader has enlightened me and freed my mind and i feel the message for "me" is to "GET A LIFE" or get back the life I had before I got soooo hooked on Home, and Games and even Social media stuff, OMG I only went to the beach a couple times this past summer. . So my New Years Promise is to cut back on gaming, spend less money on gaming, less time on the net and more time in real world. So much I'm Missing out there. I quit smoking 3 years now and quit drinking booze over 2 years now. If i can do that I can do ANYTHING, I say this because for "ME" this stuff is SOOOOOOO cool and ADDICTIVE that I am cutting back before it causes me real problems. . So for me its a sign from my angel (that HOME is closing) so i can go cold turkey and the fact that I feel ripped off and let down by the HOME stuff I paid for being totally gone will make it easier to let go. A few of my friends thought it was a great idea of what I'm doing right now before Home closes. I want to remember all the stuff I paid for (and OMG I spent a boat load) over 1500 easy LAWL , anyway I been taking pictures with friends in home and doing alot of photos of all the clothes i love and the spaces i bought and decorated. So i can look at them when i want and reflect on the good times I had. I don't think I will look at them as much as I figure I will now (I'm taking tons of pics) but just knowing I can SEE the stuff i bought back then makes me feel better, so many of mt friends are doing the same. . Also spending all my Casino money to, but now i seem to be winning more LAWL go figure, sending gifts out with all the lockwood vee mee etc etc etc coins i have stored up and going out with a BANG . Well so, if not now, but soon this will be me saying goodbye to all of you and my friends in HOME, not sure if this Site will still be running and what may become of it, guess it will get lonely here after it Closes.
