    Ah, okay. Thanks.

Also saw the rewards list of pictures from Peakvox Monster on their site and found out. The gold medallions are probably be after you've maxed out on all monsters with their elemental properties.

No problem. This is another that has been very reliable for a lot of people:
      http://www.gateway-to-japan.com/

Wow, I can't believe how much the prices have come down since I last bought yen tbh (especially yamato-touch).

With any of the sites I've mentioned, they e-mail a code to you (usually within 24 hours, but sometimes even sooner) and you just redeem the code the same way you would any other to have the yen added to your JP wallet.

it's because the japanese economy is faltering while ours is actually improving a teeny tiny bit.

When I first got a ps3, it was about 11o yen to a dollar. For the last few years it's been about 80 yen to one US dollar. Now it's approaching about 100 yen to a dollar again. Japan just implemented a large stimulus bill to help improve their economy. But we haven't seen the results of this yet. Though I've heard some talk that the yen is going to slide ALOT more....

Which is bad for the japanese. But good for those buying PSN yen cards...

Actually that's untrue. It's a balance between deflation and inflation. Weaker yen means more exports and less imports, which means it brings in money into Japan and a chance to bringing in inflation. In the other hand, stronger yen means the other way around. But with the crisis, long time deflation, and many other reasons, Japan's economy was at the very worst time with no money moving around in Japan and conditions such as: companies not having much assets, strong yen, can't rely on exports, money going out with nothing or little gain, many businesses went under or became very weak.

The Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), which held the administration power at the time (2009-2012), should have taken action, but because it was a gathering of greedy inexperienced people, they pretty much did nothing to improve Japan within their 3 years. (Can't even come up with a single positive action they did. Everything they did was pretty much against Japan. Lied on almost every single manifest, broke almost every single promise made, cut budgets that they shouldn't have, spent money outside the country for their own wealth rather than spending on rebuilding Japan or helping the crisis, and many more. So in the end may people label the DPJ as traitors)

After the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) took power again (Dec 2012-present), they took immediate action to rebuild Japan which was the stimulus bill. Pretty much what the LDP is doing right now is what the DPJ should have done, but didn't do within it's 3 years of power. With anticipation that the economy will get better, money has been moving around as you can see the stock market in Japan (5 year high). But the damage done during the DPJ days is a uphill battle for the LDP to fix. So far most things are looking positive with less negative, although its hard to envision how it'll turn out in a few years. Still, compared that to the DPJ days when it was all negative with no positive, we see some hope. I was even going to expect Japan becoming the 2nd coming of Greece if the DPJ tried to hold on to their seats and didn't dissolve their party (would have been more happy if they could have done that 2, 3 years earlier, they keep lying and postponing it).

US doesn't like to see a weak yen. Because it means less exports with more imports for US. Japan companies gets more money, US companies makes less. Imports get cheaper, US stuff need to lower prices to stay competitive. Sometimes that's good for the consumers, but with companies making less, workers get cut, pays get reduce, and the spiral goes on where eventually no one has money to spend. (which was how Japan was)

So in short, it's actually the opposite. It's bad for the US.

You said it's bad for the Japanese. Or were you talking those that were buying US PSN cards? If that's the case, opps :p

If your talking Japanese in general, then it's the opposite. Weaker yen is better for Japan and most Japanese companies will say they want to at least have around the 110 to 120 yen range or even higher. (although going too much at a fast pace will have side effects in the world economy so it needs to be done careful)

Japan wasted 3 years because of the government (Can also blame the citizens that made a lousy choice to have the Democratic Party take power) and they're in the process of trying to make it back to normal from where they left off and get Japan back in track.

well.... you can always twist that and spin it when you are talking economy.

Whenever costs change in an economy, someone will benefit and someone will suffer.

Lower yen means business can sell more exports. But that raises the price of everything a japanese person want to buy. So their money doesn't go as far. And even domestic items costs go up.
          :(

Yeah true. But if there is no business, there's no money to earn. That was the problem with the previous 3 years. Balance is the key, but when yen hit below 90 it went too far. It was a time Japan needed money. Citizens and businesses didn't have enough money to spend. So everyone in Japan expected the government to move, but they didn't and yen went way down to 70 and cause many businesses to suffer.

New event in Chatting Farm space. Make 4 Angel Wing trees of each S Class and give them to the girl at the Hub space for a LMO hover board.

Also, Shoei space will have a NicoNico event at 19:00 Monday (6:00 am EST). Not sure if it's in the space itself or the theater space, including if the Shoei people will come visit the space.

According to Facebook, Peakvox Ninja has now risen their cap to level 50 (possibly it's final update cap) including new transformer mech ninja outfits. There was also a bug fix for those missing gold and items after the Peakvox Ninja Tweet reward item as an apology. Of course, this is for NA, but since Japan Home has started Peakvox Ninja first, I copied it and pasted it up here. This also includes EU's Ninja too.:

          [PSHome peakvox ninja NA]
The peakvox ninja will be updated after this week's maintenance.
-The level cap is open to 50.
-Wednesday is off from the judgment of log-in bonuses.
-We give some items and gold coins back to all users who has already owned the "peakvox tweet", when they access the reception.
It's a token of our apology by the Twitter's system change.

For those of you that didn't get the Peakvox Tweet reward, it is now changed to a frame one with the same abilities to use on Twitter, since this was a mistake on their Twitter counterpart when the other rewards and gold items were being unlocked or used or whatever. As an added apology bonus, it is now for 50K gold instead of 100K gold.

The level 50 reward item is a limited edition mechanized ninja outfit. I bet it's gold like the Lockwood robots from E3 last year. XD

The reward items given as an apology is due to the tweet board may not be usable in the future due to Twitter's changes in their system. Twitter installed a new API 1.1 last month and I believe version 1.0 is scheduled to retire next month. It seems peakvox can't or won't be updating the item to the new standard, so they decided to discontinue it.

To say it simple, users with the Twitter reward (100000 coins) was given the picture frame (50000 coins) + 50000 coins + costumes (25000 + 20000 coins). For those that don't have the twitter reward won't get the apology rewards automatically but can still exchange them with coins. So in theory, the difference between those that own it or not is a gain of 45000 coins + a uncertain future twitter board.

Also, you only go up to 77% rewards, so they still have something up their sleeve. Don't know if it's the slots or more levels or something else.

It doesn't have the Twitter function. Only is a 1 slot picture frame (w/ backlight). The reason they did this is stated above. (not sure if EU will get this since I believe they don't allow picture frames)

It's red/silver. Gold is sold in store.

Thanks for all the clear-ups, Faga. ;)

What costumes were given to them as free? I hope we'll get a new version of the Peakvox Tweet soon, if they decided to put it out. I never had gotten it, but what a disappointment to those that wanted this reward.

I think the levels are done, thinking back to UFO Simulator in Peakvox Labs and their 50th level max cap, so they might either add rewards in the slots and/or in the list of rewards later. Perhaps they'll go back to the Tweet reward and think of something that'll work with the new API.
