Ok, so we all kind of check PS Store once in awhile to see what new demos are available or we are informed by are trusty PS3 ticker! So, you may ask, what's this thread for? This thread is for what you think of certain demos offered by any PSN from around the world and to inform others who are unaware of those demos!
Driver : San Francisco, high speed and fast paced, has it's faults, which hopefully will be fixed in actual game! I'm curious to see how this story will play out!
Catherine demo might be old, but its one of the best and fresh idea game ever presented. After trying out initial Japanese demo (before NA PSN Store demo being offered) I am convince its one of the best game Atlus has ever ported to North America and being fresh, different and subject matter with gameplay.
I agree Art, as I too played it first via PSN Japan! It is definitely a innovative and very welcomed game in a repetitive copy and paste game industry! thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Catherine Demo Was Amazing, So Amazing That I Bought The Game And Love It. My Friends Loved It A Lot, SO I Had To Have It As Well I Tried The Driver SF Demo From PSN, It Was Interesting! I Didn't Like The Idea Of Jumping/Appearing In Cars Automatically, The Turning Of Vehicles Was Not Tuned Perfectly; Overall I Am Really Interested In It .. I Might Pick It Up 9/6/2011
That's good to hear Kim, Catherine is one of my favorite PS3 games!! Yeah Driver: San Francisco, is kind of iffy right now! Yeah, the transporting between vehicles is a hindrance! I don't even know why it was put into the game, besides the obvious, which is so that tanner can drive as other people, specifically criminals/getaway drivers I assume! That's is dead on, vehicle tuning in Driver: San Francisco is less than stellar, hopefully Ubisoft will work out the kinks, before it's officially released! God Of War: Origins Demo After seeing the game trailer for Origins, I immediately wanted to play it! I've played God Of War on the PSP and it never really felt right, as the PSP analog is too small to play, efficiently! (IMO) so to finally have it on console is something I was looking forward to! I finally got the chance to play it today and I have to say it was well translated!! PSP Kratos looks awesome in HD! gameplay is fluid as well as the controls! I gave it 5 stars!!
BloodRayne: Betrayal Demo. As a fan of the original BloodRayne & BloodRayne 2, i don't like the demo at all. It looks like an arcade game that BloodRayne would play in BloodRayne 3. If your looking for a BloodRayne substitution this isn't it. There's no emotion no BloodRayne personality no style & it dares a claim to the name BloodRayne & yet it's rated T. I give it 1.5 out of 10
Yeah, they described this as a hack n slash game, when it's far from it! This is more like a side scrolling game.

After playing BloodRayne & BloodRayne 2 why would i want to go to that.
I don't know, why gaming companies think changing existing franchises is cool, leave them alone, & just improve gameplay!
Agreed!!!! I was sooooo looking forward to a PS3 BloodRayne3, that crap BloodRayne betrayal is a disappointment . It's like expecting a large pizza with mushrooms onions meat & cheese but you get a RITZ cracker with bologna instead.

My take on The From Dust Demo [video=youtube;1Y8l8kEI354]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y8l8kEI354[/video] I tried out the From Dust demo available on the u.s PSNStore & to me it feels more like helping ants more then TheSims. A better concept would be like the episode of the simpsons, south park or Futurama where they the sea monkeys become intelligent create a society & you occasionally guide them. You help by moving water or sand to create paths or divert, block, create rivers in order to save a growing village. The graphics for the islands & water look amazing & the way you move elements is something TheSims could use. It's definitely worth a try, maybe you'll like it however it looks like it could get boring pretty fast so hopefully they'll be a huge price drop, but there's a demo available so try it.
