"One Piece Kaizoku Musou" Headed to PlayStation 3 Over at a Namco Bandai teaser site, they've been counting down to a collaboration reveal that's more or less become a forgone conclusion at this point, mostly thanks to leaked scans of Shonen Jump. It looks like One Piece is next in line for the Dynasty Warriors treatment.*Not much information is available at the moment, but the full title appears to be One Piece Kaizoku Musou, and it brings Namco Bandai and Tecmo Koei together to work that hack 'n slash magic on Eiichiro Oda's unstoppable franchise. The likely result? It's nice to see that both MacrossF and Haruhi both did well on their opening weekends. I'm a little shocked at some of the leaders. I think the numbers were skewed. Probably taking in worldwide box-office for the leaders. 1.34 Billion?!?!? I don't think the last Harry Potter did that well. Those numbers are huge. Something is wrong.
It depends. Harry Potter caters to casuals of the series and the book fans. Plus, movies have been dry lately.. So, add the boring teenagers looking for a date movie. I could see it. Kind of cool seeing anime movie views being so high. Makes me wonder if these movies are worth seeing. (most anime movies seem like a waste of time unless you are a big fan. filler filled stuff. For me, I'd probably watch the Naruto one.. I've grown to like the series a lot more after rewatching with subs.)
