I've been working on the trophy for 50 days for a while now. I am at 30 days. I am wondering, do you guys know when the day moving on to the following day? Like when, for example, 2/10 turns to 2/11 on EST American servers? I'm just like ugh :|! I wanna know, but I figured you guys might now :D~

Unlocking the 50 day trophy seems to be a little finicky, so there's been discussion on the best way to go about it, posted in a number of places. Apparently this trophy's counter calculates days in actual 24 hour chunks. Try reading the commentary here:

No Place like Home trophy (visit for 50 days) fails to unlock

Latest commentary from the PS Home forum says this:

"There’s No Place Like Home" Gold Trophy
--Visit PlayStation®Home on 50 different days--

A number of people are still experiencing frustration over getting this Trophy, days and days past their presumed unlock date. I don't think it's unreasonable for them to be complaining about it... Considering that the requirements for unlocking "There's No Place Like Home" remain poorly defined.

Here's some final observations on what appears to be necessary to get this PSN trophy.

If you've ever had your account reset for the purchase validation freeze, unfortunately it also resets the counter on the 50 day trophy. Nothing can be done about that, sorry. For the main part, we believe that this trophy is on a 24 hour clock from when you log into Home each day. Home trophies count the next day as a "different" day only when your next log in is more than 24 hours later. You have to actually log off Home for the counter to increment! If you own several consoles that all access Home, to unlock this trophy and A Photo Documentary trophy, you should stick to just using one PS3 for now.

If trophies are based on the 24 hour Timezone of each PS3, D-Nitrate suggested a scenario that might explain how someone could "log in for 50 days in a row," but still not unlock the trophy. That person would probably be doing mostly what people do for daily Home tasks when they don't have a lot of free time. That is, people log in before 4PM PST/ 5PM PDT to do their dailies just before the daily server reset at GMT+0, and stay online after the reset to do the same dailies again. Then they log off and come back in about 46 hours, and rinse and repeat.

Doing this allows you to avoid missing a single day of daily activities that are based on the server clock.... but if this Trophy is counting days based on your 24-hour TZ itself, then you would miss every other day. Best bet is to make a note of what time you log in and make sure at least 24 hours has passed before you log in again. Reason why I think this (and not just because of the "login every 46 hours" habit that I admittedly do) is that there's been a couple reports of users unlocking the "No Place Like Home" Trophy an hour or more AFTER their first login into Home that day. In other words, their earlier login on that day didn't count at that point... until they finally reached a full day AFTER their previous day's login.

In my case, I had to plow through 70+ days to unlock the Trophy because I was often doing skip-a-day daily runs. Your mileage may vary. Don't forget to sync your trophy list before entering Home, around the time you expect you're near the 50 day mark. Good luck.
