Hey, I think I saw this place awhile back....but I don't think it was called Prehistoric Canyon. I think the one I saw was called Prehistoric Valley. :D

Way to tap into that creativity and originality that you are so known for Lockwood. lol

You have officially reached the lowest of lows in terms of re-skins and desperate money grabs. Congrats!

Has Lockwood run out of ideas? This is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Anything for a quick buck.

Thing is, its not the first time Lockwood have done this. They did it with the Sodium spaces also, just moved the layout about and sold it has new.

Lazy is being too kind at this point. Someone just pointed out to me that even half the rewards from the space are either identical or re-skinned, from the valley space. That's beyond lazy, and totally insulting to Lockwood supporters. They don't even seem to give a rats arse anymore. Here's a short story (and bit of a rant) that will further convince you of their laziness and lack of willingness to even communicate with us, and why my disdain for them grows rapidly with each update.

When they released their 'jungle dance pack' back in January, I bought it, only to find that it wasn't a dance pack at all. It was more like... dance emotes. You see, the dances each cycled once and then stopped. They didn't loop... at all. That's not a dance pack. Geez, even our basic default dances cycle over and over. So I messaged them on Facebook, and they were all "Wow... you're the only person we've heard complain about this. Sorry, it's working as intended as far as we know". At one point, someone on their Facebook page messaged me back and said they'd look into it with the design team. They never got back to me after that, despite my reminding them of their previous message indicating they would. I even brought it up with Melissa several times and she just ignored me.

Over the next few months I kept bringing it up in other posts of theirs, insisting it's falsely labeled and that dance packs all loop their animations, essentially shaming them for not responding and being lazy. I mean, I want my $3 back or fix it, it's not a hard choice LKWD. Eventually, they just banned me from posting on their page about it, so I had to get creative and make an alt account to bring the issue up, but less frequently.

Finally, Melissa was replaced with Mike (thank gawd) and Mike said he'd look into it. Then one day a few months or so later, I logged into Home and my first stop was Dream Central to do my LKWD Life. As I loaded in, it said I received a new item. Odd. I checked, and it turns out I'd gotten a new version of the jungle dance pack that had the word 'Loop' attached to it (nice touch, a personal nod to me by adding the key word that I'd been complaining this dance lacked I wondered?). I figured five months late was better than never, and it looked decent now and worked properly.

So heres the lazy part. A friend saw me using it one day and I told her it was the dance I'd had such a hard time convincing them to fix for so long. She thought it was fun and decided to purchase it. So she downloads the dance and guess what it doesn't do? Loop. It's the same old crappy dance pack they sold five months ago. No changes, at all. I told her, "contact them and let them know that they only fixed it for male avi's", so she did. They got back to her quite quickly and informed her how to remedy the situation. You see, as it turns out, the ONLY way to get the LOOP version is to visit their Dream Central space. I know, I had the same look on my face that you do now. Does that make any sense to anyone at all here? I initially assumed I received it as an update as I was loading into Home, but nope. Apparently, the only way to get the updated version is to go to that space alone. Zero announcements were made about it on their webpage, Facebook, or Home. No effort was made to just overwrite the original file on Home with the new updated version. It took 5 months of trying to get my money back or them to fix it, and they even screwed that up! Had I never been involved with doing LKWD Life, I would have never had reason to visit Dream Central, and never known that they finally fixed their broken dance five months later.

What really pisses me off is that I often wonder how many other people are still out there, constantly having to jungle dance, one 'R1, scroll down, activate dance, rinse & repeat, at a time'. Lazy, non-communicative, greedy. That's what comes to mind when I think LKWD now. They used to be my favourite dev.

So if you know anyone with the Jungle Dance Pack, tell them to head on over to Dream Central to pick up the version that actually works, because Lockwood couldn't be bothered to let you know themselves. :/
