I had a hard pick between Veemee and Granzella, since they did some great events last year, but had to choose one. I went for GZ for their Kikai event.

    Hi all,

Just a reminder that joining the site more that once to cheat the polls will end up with all that users votes being removed and there site accounts banned.

Once Im Home from work a number of accounts and votes from a user that joined multi times last night and voted for the same dev will be removed and banned.

Take this as a warning for anyone else thinking of doing the same.

Also doing it to get more names in the prize draw hat will not work as all winners get checked for multi accouts and if found get banned and someone else picked.

So end of day your just cheating your self.

This was difficult for me. I voted for Juggernaut games. They are not my favourite , but they do a good job, most especially with their interactive items.

Granzella are my favourite, cos they're a bitnutsy, a bit more real and with emotion that other devs lack, and when they make items, they make fairly for male and female.

But I enjoyed Juggernauts interactive items, and some costume, & thier red platform freebie and other bits from theminibots game free space llhavethier uses, butthe red platform is so, so good for construction, along with harbour studio storage item.

Juggernaut, if minibots was minus the minibots, and we could skateboard around the city instead xx

      Veemee, no doubt.

This was a tough choice between several devs, got my choices down to Juggernaut and Codeglue and winded up selecting Juggernaut based on them releasing a larger variety of content through the year.

Sorry I had to choose Jam Games, cause they got awesome oufits and they always respond back to me very often on twitter. I'm very proud of the stuff they've given us, especially Painted Bare and The family busines, and my personal favorite, the Jam Jar (an excellent space, despite it is not interactive).

This vote is a tough one.
I was going to ask "what criteria should I use to select the 'Best Home Developer of 2013'?" so I'm glad Carla has already defined the factors.

So if I go by these criteria:
Very high quality on their virtual items/clothing/LMOs/companions; excellent gameplay value for public lounges that I actually play a lot and repeatedly; ability to push the limits (the first dev to create a good multiplayer ranged combat game that didn't suck; the first dev to allow access to a speed LMO in-game in Home a year before LMOs came out(!); the only dev to let you create your "own" virtual objects/armor/companions at your own pace and direction); displaying enthusiasm in giving back to the Community with multiple special events and free rewards:

Then my choice for 2013 is obvious. Hands down, it's O-Two Japan (Peakvox Ninja, Peakvox Labs, Peakvox Monster).

I give O-Two credit for their insistence on maintaining the schedule for their planned events despite the imminent March shutdown of SCEI's store operations.

Given that O-Two is a Japanese developer in JP Home, I sincerely hope that they will be able to make the transition to NA Home and engage in releasing the full range of their products there. They have been far too innovative for us to lose them. :nailbiting:

Aside from that, I do want to acknowledge Veemee's and Lockwood's contributions this year. Veemee for having stepped up to the plate and creating Acorn Meadows Park --definitely the best public space to date, and we had dire need of such a lounge to combat all the graffiti filled wastegrounds. Lockwood for having created a large chunk of the special events we've had. But it's telling that some of the other posters in this thread seemed to select their choice based on the "quality" of that dev's virtual objects. What I find troubling about Veemee's seasonal offerings (and with some of Lkwd's past offerings) is their succumbing to the cheezy tacky factor of rampant commercialism. I don't mind at all seeing holiday-appropriate sparklers and hats/masks and elegant outfits and tasteful wall-hangings, but I do mind seeing versions of such items which are garishly tacky, ugly and obviously modeled from ornaments straight from the dollar discount store!:banghead: ***

Which brings me to one of the best winter events this past year which, for some reason, isn't even listed on the YPSH Best of Home 2013 nominations. Who created the Orson's Throne Room Christmas event? Was it Juggernaut? The rewards from that game were elegant and eye-catching. I still have them all laid out in several of my apartments.
