The glowing circle is a freebie hand item (should be white when you saw it) that's a reward for entering the Elemental Monsters space under Hudson for the first time. There's other circles you can buy from their store, and they have different colors according to its elements. @Faga: I'm pretty sure we might pull it off. Perhaps last day of the show will be 3 Heat Ups instead of 2. Not to mention it'll last until 11/7, so it might play on once updated on Halloween day for it to reach the 2 million mark and its rewards.
The description tells us that the number achieved by 10/31 will be reflected to the rewards given for the future shows. Unless they change the condition, there's a deadline for it.
Not yet. We haven't reached that far off, only that we've passed over the 1,500,000 mark so far, so that makes it two rewards that haven't been unlocked yet to everyone. Looking at the shows in between today, we've reached almost like 20,000 per showing, so I'm pretty sure right now it's around 1,600,000+ already, close to 1,700,000 though. We just need some more people and more pushes for perfect games, I'm guessing.
So are you guessing that whatever ones are unlocked will be issued at the end of the whole event? It wasn't as crowded as early on at the 2 I went to yesterday. I hope people haven't given up or lost interest. I also hope that all of the chatter in English isn't putting off JP users. I've seen people saying "English no" and references to "gaijin" a few times. The times for U.S. aren't looking so good either for Monday and Tuesday. A lot of people will be sleeping and starting their work days at those times (in EST anyways). Oh well, guess we just see what happens.
Well, it's slowly getting up there. I just happen to see that sometimes around early morning here, there's always a big amount of people living in Japan that's living under afternoon hours. Then it's the opposite effect around afternoon here. As to the Japanese about us "gaijin", I know most of them would rather see us speak Japanese than English, Spanish, French, or Italian because it is their solid language after all.
Some Japanese people want us to talk to them in English, so they can learn it. Over there if you know alot of English or other languages they think your really smart. Even the Emperor of JP was taught English by a American teacher when he was a prince.
Oh, well that makes sense. I thought that some people don't like us because of our way of talking. Perhaps during events or something like that that they consider us rude. In fact, I don't talk too much during event times unless I want to.
Yeah if you see a Japanese saying person getting irritated because you are speaking English to them, chances are that deep inside that there are really jealous that you can speak better English then them( this is my opinion). My friend lives over in JP and she wants to learn English so bad, so she want me and her Friend to teach it to her, and she is getting better at it. I think English is Japan's second language, but is not very used.
So it would probably be more polite to just speak Japanese? I mean I didn't know that they could be that jealous. But I guess anything is possible
Actually the majority is the other way around. Usually it becomes "why on earth are they here, if they can't even read or speak Japanese." Since your reading these forums I believe you understand how difficult it is to communicate and understand different languages, and how irritating it is on not knowing what's going on. The same thing is happening when someone starts talking in English. They don't know what your saying and pretty much gets frustrated with it. Japanese people do learn English in school, but it's pretty much elementary English, and as any foreign language classes you take in middle and high school, if you don't use it, you usually forget all of it in a few years. For a typical Japanese person, they probably will never face a situation where they need to speak English. So, only those that have any interest overseas or have any relation with overseas are the ones that keep remembering and be using it.
It's often helpful to put the shoe on the other foot. Imagine if you had to deal with large numbers of Spanish speakers in NA home. At first they are just a curiosity like Faga mentioned. "Why are they here?" But then imagine what happens during events when people want to enjoy an event and there are tons of Spanish bubbles filling their screen. And it's hard to read the event text because the bubbles are distracting. If you look around, most of the Japanese aren't talking during the event text. But we fill the screen with text. Me included. ^_^;
They should have a text translator, like the person speaking in English to a Japanese person would see it in Japanese, an when a Japanese person speaks in Japanese it will be in English sort of.
Interesting note. Some of the presets are automatically translated. When you select "Hello", they see it as こんにちはand vice-versa. I noticed this when I would visit US friends with my Japanese account.
