Hi all, The site as had a few updates and new systems added this morning, so I'm going quickly go over them for you Site Articles First out the sites articles system as been updated to group articles in to sections, News, Interviews and so on. This is to let you faster find articles eg interviews. Support System Before we just made use of a support forum, now we have a full support system, where users can ask about support subjects and then people can reply and the best reply can be marked as just that. Once the poster/admin picks the best reply the question it gets marks as resolved and moved to the resolved tab. Events Calendar The calendar system as now had a RSVP system added to it, to better help with planning of events. The system as now also been linked within the sites menu under the new Community area of the menu. Media The old site gallery had become a mess in my personal view, so a new systems been added, with this new system you can now add videos, plus you can still post photos. With videos, users can upload a video from their PC/Mac or they can link to videos uploaded from YouTube. With photos, you can now group them into slide shows. With all new media added a new thread is made within the new media comments forum, so users can comment on the media added. Activity Stream A new activity stream as been added, with this you can see what new posts are made, blogs and so on, again this is linked on the main site menu and users can filter what is showed on the stream. Site Menu The sites menu as been resorted to add some systems to it, so they are not as hidden as they used to be, so be sure to check the new links. As normal, we want your feedback on what we are doing right or wrong when it comes to YPSH, it really is your Home community and we want to shape it in your wants and needs and we can only do that with your feedback, we don't just follow what others do, we are proactive in trying to give you want you want and pushing the limits of what can be done.
I'm going take in that with all the likes and no replys that there is not anything you think could be better or added or that you hate?
My like was just a way of saying thanks again for doing what you do here. It would be hard to say anything could be better or worse when any added features are icing on a cake that already tastes real good lol I think the support system is a great idea, the media slide show and vid features with comments looks nice, but I need to play with that more (should be easy since I'm so good with that stuff......not!) and the activity stream and events calendar will be real handy. All in all, the site looks great and continues to be an invaluable Home info. resource with the friendliest, most helpful....and funniest (looking) users. :bigsmile: Is there anything I don't like? Nope......but what Heavy Water shirt you are wearing in the banner is bugging me. :: Now if only we could get you to work on Home and perform some of this same magic. Thx Carla

I have a question, how do i turn off the display notifications of who replied to whatever thread that appears on my profile page?It's really annoying & i don't care about having a display notification when i can simply go to the forum sections & see who replied to whatever thread.
That sounds like at some point you have subscribed to a forum or thread(s), check your settings page and make sure you have none set: http://www.yourpshome.net/usercp.php
I haven't subscribed to anything here, i'm guessing it's because the multiple forum updates everything shifted around. Thanks for the help i'll give a look. My Subscriptions Nothing is checked highlighted or anything.
