Grrrr. Well we know there's two components to getting a lounge's data on one's PS3. There's the part that downloads the actual space data onto the HDD, and then there's the installation of that data into the Home application. It's something of a mystery with how Home's reward unlocks are linked 'physically' to a virtual location. Ever since the console firmware update 3.72 and Home upgrade 1.55 two updates ago, the item verification routines that check one's reward entitlements are shot to heck. The new data security for the PS3 has been breaking Home's scripting left right and center. And the reward unlock delay bug is super frustrating. All I can say is keep visiting the Shopping Mall, and maybe the next time SCEE updates the Home Square, something may get triggered that will finally unlock the Apartment for you. Other suggestions: Receiving presents from the Gift Machine has been known to help unlock a stuck reward. Maybe try visiting the Action District > Dead Island minispace occasionally, which may also unlock stuck rewards. You can try my procedure as below: 1. Join to Go-Fish in Mall East to check inventory. (My case is all inventory lost and default fishing hook name is error number; same as Th00 t3##).(Important! Don't play the game. Check inventory only!) 2. Quit the game and back to your apartment. 3. Put the fish tank and all Go-fish reward into your apartment. 4. After all fishes appeared in your tank, then go back to Go-fish in Mall East. After that my apartment appear again. You can try but I cannot guarantee it works in your case.:thumbsup:
I got my apartment back :cheers: In my case I was in home square near the shopping mall but used the navigator to go there and not the map.( I thought I would try this method first before deleting caches etc) Once there the reward notification popped right up and my apartment was just as I had left it as well. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
