The LOOT sunset yacht has a few unlockable capers that add enhancements to your boat and get you a few virtual goodies. tomorrow there will be a one day caper so be on your boat to unlock it. Currently I cannot even get on my boat. Ever since this last update I've had more than my usual trouble. I can't be entirely certain but I believe I'm having more hard freezes than before, if you can believe that. Anywho, that white screen just won't go away, waited 10 minutes one time. I had already deleted Home once and reinstalled it but looks like I may end up trying to do that again. Hard to help others when I can't even help myself lol.
Are these new? I remember something like this when it was first released. In fact, I remember the 11 people in the space unlocked the birds or somethin like that. Would that carry over for these or are these the same rewards? Btw with the dated one.. Did anyone get it after the 19th or set back their dates to get it? Also.. there is a reward for getting to level 20 on Cabin Boy in Trout Trouble - Classic. Popped up so quick I didn't see the name. I also don't know the point value associated with it.
Trilly, try copying your save file for that apt to a USB drive. Then delete the save file on your ps3. Maybe that will help. If that don't work, you might also try doing the same to the SCRIPTS file. Scripts is sometimes used to record info that affect apartments (amoung other things)
Yes, you can set the date on your PS3 back to 9/19 and get that caper when you enter the space. Also, if I remember correctly, you can get the one for 11 visitors by being at ANY yacht that is full. Soooo, if all of the people here who need it (along with me and a few others), can organize a date and time, I think we can get it done all at once for a bunch of people.
Thanks for the ideas FF, I haven't tried deleting the script file yet so I'll try that one. Thanks for affirming we can back date our PS3 for that one caper Hopper. Now I just need to be able to log into the PSN since something isn't allowing it currently and then finally get aboard my ship since something isn't allowing that currently either. :turned:
Trill, there are two things that happened recently. First, sony's SCEA changed it's name to SCEI. So we all had to resign a EULA again. Also, the ps3 firmware updated last night. So you have to do that in order to use PSN now.
Well, lets get confirmation that Trill's yacht problem is resolved first and then we can just set a date and time. Good? .....and then after we get it done we can throw Liza overboard. lol--j/k :boat:
Thanks Hop but please don't wait for my problem to get resolved. Even if I used the typical Sony response of "shortly" it could be the longest shortly anyone has ever experienced. :sleep1: If anyone can get together, to get enough peeps on a boat to earn a caper, by all means do it. :group:
Nope...we're waiting lol Just see what happens Trill--it might resolve itself on any given visit. If not, just post the problem on the ps.com Home support forum and I'm sure they will get it fixed by tomorrow. :rolleyes1:
