If anyone's wondering about the new weapons just added to the game, the Long Range Plasma Emitters live up to their name. Don't deal as much damage as the rail/gusses(sp) guns, but their rate of fire makes up for it.
The Grenade, a missile weapon, are short range dumb fire. Not recommended unless you like it close and personal.
