  1. For the last couple of weeks, I have been watching every Vincent Price movie I own. Sure, they are old, but Vincent Price was a very great actor. He was also a self made man, even though he came from a wealthy family. He wasn't spoiled and pampered, he had to go out there on his own and make his own living. (You don't see that sort of thing too often, anymore.) He was definitely the master of theater.

    Anyway...

    After watching:

    House of Wax (1953)
    House on Haunted Hill (1959)
    House of Usher (1960)
    Pit and the Pendulum (1961)
Edgar Allan Poe's Tales of Terror (1962)
    Nathaniel Hawthorne's Twice-Told Tales (1963)
The Last Man on Earth (1964)
    Witchfinder General (1968)
    The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971)
    Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972)
    Theater of Blood(1973)
    Madhouse (1974)

I decided that I need many more of his films. I would really like to own everything he ever appeared/acted in. I just love his performances. He can go from being a man you absolutely hate and fear, to being a guy you feel bad for and love. I love his voice, too. Even when he's playing a psycho, I can drift off to sleep no problem, at the sound of his voice. (But I'm a bit insane, myself.) If I had to pick a favorite Vincent Price movie, I really couldn't. He's got too many good ones out there.

I think I'll comb through the internet, looking for more of his movies. I must have more!

In the meantime... I'll probably continue to watch the Vincent Price movies I do have, over and over, for the next month or longer. Lol.

Don't forget to add The Brady Bunch "the Tiki Caves" episode to your list!

I totally agree. I'm not a fan of remakes, either.

I'm a big fan of originals. Not a big fan of remakes. :wow:
If it was a good movie to begin with why make it again? :taz:
