Did Sony mean this; Dictionary entry overview: What does shortly mean? • SHORTLY(adverb) The adverb SHORTLY has 5 senses: 1. for a short time 2. in the near future 3. in a curt, abrupt and discourteous manner 4. in a concise manner; in a few words 5. at a short distance Familiarity information: SHORTLY used as an adverb is common. ;D or this; But more likely it is a low priority issue with me and I have no intention of actually getting back to them quickly, but don't want to inform them of that because that will just make them more insistent. There's also a possibility that I am trying to guage how important the issue is to them, which can be determined by how long they feel "shortly" has expired (This is more likely the Japanese interpretation)
