About my terrorising cat: King Sebastion ^x^

  1. Many months ago I worked at a Rescue Shelter as a kennel tech. and I did receive a low sum of payment, but I enjoyed my work even at 5:00 a.m. lol. Well one day my boss asked if I could foster a kitten until he could eat solid food and I replied, "awe I'd love to". We drove to the other shelter and there in someone hands was a tiny tabby kitty. I held this innocent creature and was told that this helpless animal was dumped in public garbage. We discussed my obligations such as every 3 hours I will need to feed him & stimulate him to digest b/c he had to be less than 2 weeks old then took him to our home. He was weak although very strong willed & active. In the beginning I was not aware of this troublesome routine, but later all was worth it. I became attached & raised this stubborn cat as King Sebastion![​IMG]

    yea it saddens me when i see animals in the shelter. I think a huge issue is people willing to mate their pets. My bf works as an animal control officer and he has dealt with situations where these owners will show up holding 5 puppies saying that they didn't want them because the puppies were not born of the right color. All my cats have been strays since no one wanted to take care of em, but i bet we love our animals more than anyone else could lol ^x^

    I have a kitty and love her very much, she was a stray. I get food at a natural foods pet store and they shelter a small amount of cats and it's very very difficult to look at them in their cages.

    Kittens are so adorable and lovable ^x^ What you did was very generous as well!!! All animals I have plenty of sympathy for unlike my perspective towards humanity. Actions with cruelty I dont want to bother understanding just hope in return they suffer worse, Tragic knowing rumors can effect good people, Sorry to hear that :( Do have any animals?

    I think kittens have to be one of the cutest things in the world. When people inflict cruelty upon animals I have to wonder what's going on in their heads to do so; especially when it's an innocent youngling. My sister and I did some volunteer work at an animal shelter nearby, and donated some food, toys, bedding, etc. So kudos to you for helping out when you could for animals in need! It's so worth it.

    Sadly, the owner of the shelter committed suicide just last year because people were accusing her of being cruel to the animals; and it was such a sad story. We knew her to be a very generous person, taking the time and using her own money to take animals off the street in a no-kill home until they were adopted out.
