Where do you post photos and honest reviews of female fashions in PS Home? What about male fashions? What about the fun, wacky fashions as well as the more serious ones? What about your ideas and what you would like to see on PS Home in the way of male/female fashion? What about accessories or hair styles? You just found THE place......

Welcome to our latest creation, THE DRESSING ROOM ! A place for the community to express its likes, dislikes, ideas and just have fun with anything and everything that has to do with female OR male fashions in PS Home. Since this is a whole new concept, it needs some explanation. So please take a minute to read on and then jump in and join the fun.

To begin, in the past, you were used to just posting messages and adding your photos and comments. In this forum, it will work a bit differently. Let me explain....

The Dressing Room will fully utilize one of YPSH's newest features .... the Showcase. The Showcase will be the place to post your photos (or videos!), leave comments, reviews and details about your fashion shoots. It will help organize things and make topics easier to find. Instead of having one huge thread, each time you post to the Showcase (as shown below) it will create a new thread, properly labeled, within The Dressing Room.

If you just want to post an idea with one or two photos (say from a fashion magazine), then just create your own thread as usual. However, if you want to post an entire shoot or highlight a new release on PS Home and review it, the Showcase is the way to go. here's how it works......

The following step by step guide will show you how to post your fashion to the sites Showcase system.
    • First click the "Showcase" button from the sites menu to load the showcase
    Welcome To The Dressing Room !, Aug 3, 2013, 5:00 PM, YourPSHome.net, 8944
    • In the upper right click "Create Item".
    Welcome To The Dressing Room !, Aug 3, 2013, 5:00 PM, YourPSHome.net, 8944
    • Next up you need to choose a category, Female Home Fashion or Male Home Fashion, and then click "Continue".
    Welcome To The Dressing Room !, Aug 3, 2013, 5:00 PM, YourPSHome.net, 8944
    • Once on the Create Item page you need to fill in the following information.
Item Name = The name of your fashion shoot/review
    Item Description = A short description/summary of your shoot/review
    • Next, you use the main text editor box to type in and format your review and include information about your fashion shoot; going into detail about the items used and your views and tips on the items, e.g., how well the top goes with other leg items. Don't forget you can also format your text with images, just like any normal site post.
    • Next click the "Upload Images to Gallery" button and upload the images of your Fashion Shoot.

    • The next step is to click the "Sidebar Fields" Here, if you wish, you can enter extra information that will show in the side bar of the page, e.g., a quick bit of text stating costs, what other colors are available and so on.

    • Up next, click on "Self Place Fields". Here you can name the wardrobe items used in your Fashion Shoot.
    • You most tick "Fashion Start" & Fashion End".
    • Fill in the boxes with the PlayStation Home item names for the items you used in the Fashion Shoot, Note boxes can be kept blank if you have not used that item type or don't wish to. However, we would very much like people to name the items used.
    Welcome To The Dressing Room !, Aug 3, 2013, 5:00 PM, YourPSHome.net, 8944
    • Last up, press the "Create Item" button.
    • Your Fashion Shoot will now be added to the Showcase system, where you may give it a star rated review, or post a quick comment or join in the full discussion.
Note your able to edit your Showcase listing after posting, and also a discussion thread will automatically be made, within the "The Dressing Room" forum, to highlight that a new item has been posted and for people to talk about it or ask for help.

There you have it. It's easy and it will make The Dressing Room the most advanced place around for posting ALL of your fashion news, ideas and shoots.

Don't be intimidated! Try it! Ask questions. We don't care if you make mistakes. We're here to help. Soon you'll be enjoying the benefits and, as always, we are open to your suggestions.

I would be remiss if I didn't take a second to thank YPSH member drake21734. You all know her as Stacey. Stacey was kind enough to create our Dressing Room logo and I'm sure you will agree she did a great job! Her work is on our banner at the top of the site, which by the way, you can click on it for easy access to The Dressing Room.

An important final note. Most YPSH regulars are familiar with our member Heavyn (PSN ID : Elmo-JO). We all just call her "Elmo". Elmo is into fashion. Not just "off the rack" fashion either. If you don't know Elmo, you soon will from reading this forum. She will be our Moderator for The Dressing Room. It's her job to help keep things on track, help you with using this forum, and just generally watching over it. And she LOVES anything green! Especially shoes! Please join Carla and I in welcoming Elmo to this forum!

This is the Dressing Room. All about fashion. ALL fashion. Male and female. It's not about Elmo, or Carla, or me. It's for YOU, the community. Join in and ENJOY!
