Sometimes the unknown can be surprising, other times it's just what you expected! Capcom has got the notion, that RE needs to be "rebooted", when did RE become a computer or for that matter any type of hardware, that requires such a thing! It's just as I stated in the DMC 5, post "continuation is key"! I like what Capcom is doing with RE:ORC, in which you play as umbrella soldiers and see RE from the antagonist perspective, but I don't think it's going to be excuted properly and it will fall...
Co-op gaming is one of the biggest reason games are selling these days! (it's way more fun to play with friends and family as the level of excitement is much higher) While it's true a lot of gamers want to play online with friends and the like! There are those on the opposite end who want to game offline with friends! The best way for a developer to appease both sides is to offer both options to the same game! However as of late, it seems more developers are opting out on offline co-op game...
In the gaming world, especially consoles, Japan is King!! The majority of the games we play as gamers are a product of Japan! I have no problem with this, but many NA compaines do! As a result they shut out Japanese games, that would other wise rival there games! Thus Japan does the same to NA games, "Do unto others as you have them do unto you". These opposing views affect the gaming market as a whole. There was or is a conference set to alleviate some or all of the tension, hopefully...
Driver, finally makes, it's return after a long hiatus! Whether that be the turmoil it endured in the transition from Take 2 to Ubisoft is irrelevant, as it is now soon to be released! In playing the demo, I find the graphics are nicely done! Driving is easy enough as most driving games have now adopted R2 as a vehicle's acceleration, so those who play or played driving games, will pick up the controls easily, even for a novice, the controls are rather easy to learn! It's also stated it has...
...by introducing a new version of Dante, which resembles the original Dante, in no way at all!! "Fans" are divided, the majority saying, the game is trash and their not playing it! Then there's the lesser of the two, who say, I'm going to play it! (I don't see these "fans" as fans at all, because their accepting this as canon, when it's not in accordance, with what was set) I would rather see the concept presented by the artist who did this PS3 imaging, than this so called "Prequel"!!!!...
There's a lot to be said about a gaming company, that's willing to sacrifice one of it's flagship titles and completely destroy it! The first thing that comes to mind is stupidity! DMC has a foundation, which has been solidly built over the years, ever since DMC original debut! Capcom has blatantly crumbled this foundation and reduced it to ruins!! There calling DMC 5 a prequel, but in short, it's a totally different take on DMC all together, any subsequent titles will follow the story of...
...It's quite irritating to do so, maybe co-op will come into play at this point in the actual game! There's also the issue of Tanner's ability to invade another person's psyche, while driving! I don't really see why they gave him this ability, as Driver is suppose to be about his skill as a wheelman, not some psychic medium! I'll have to see how it plays out in the game! If you like driving games or your a fan of Driver, check out the demo!
Yes the game provides a challenge and why shouldn't it, that's the goal or should be the goal of any game. To the response of not beating enemies, this is an RPG, which requires strategy. There are many weakness you can exploit in Episode II, you just have to be aware of them! If everyone disliked a game based on the factors in part I of this blog, the gaming industry wouldn't be what it is today! It's not only the story that draws me to a game, but the challenge as well!! In saying that, I...
In truth I never was a big fan of Yakuza, in fact I had a strong dislike of it, due to the fact that SEGA, was or has been using it as a substitute for "Shenmue"! However after playing Yakuza 4, I found myself entranced by the story and the introduction of the new characters, of which, I strongly consider to be the greatest addition to Yakuza, period!! My favorite character out of the pack is "Shun Akiyama", thus I was interested in seeing where his story arc lead! His role now continues on...
A question came to mind this week, which was which Xenosaga episode was best between the 3. I found myself dissecting various aspects of each game! Intially I answered my own question, by stating that episode I was best because of the combat system, but later retracted it. I then found myself looking for others thoughts on which was the best of the 3. In doing so I found almost all were opposed to episode II, for what reason though! I personally findd the game amazing! due to it's CG scenes...
