Hi all, Over the last few days i have been asked about the future of this site and even come across some false reports claiming that the site will close at the end of November 2014, so i wish to clear this up for you all. This site was the first PlayStation Home website and it was made to help, support and grow the Home community from the very start of Home, its not been made for some personal gain, so due to that fact we plan on still being here to the very final day, in fact we have talked with some developers and made it clear to them that we are in this to the end with them and plan on trying to keep the fun and good times going with them to the final avatar drops in March 2015. So what about life after PlayStation Home? Well thats unclear, the site comes at a great personal cost every month and i have been running sites for some 17 years now. But it's not about the cost, it's about the community and the love of doing it. For a community based site to work, you need to feel a love for it, without that feeling a site like this becomes a shell without a heart and without a community. By community i mean all you lot, posting, talking and having fun, I'm not talking hit counts on the site. Right now a number of worlds are being planned, made or our made where the community might move to come March 2015. This site is able to move with you, but for that to happen the feeling i talked above above needs to be in place, many Home sites have been made based on personal gains and not that feeling of love for community and them sites will be the first to go and be closed or fail to support the community to the end. I'm happy that we are and never will be one of them site. You might have seen that we have already started to support the other worlds, with Karens interviews and i have made some updates to some of the sites systems to support the other worlds, by doing this we are in a place where we can keep on supporting the community that we love for as long as the love is in place. What happens if we keep going after Home? All the information on this site is history, its memories and it's what made and shaped us all in some way over the last 6 years, no matter what happens, that will all stay but i have placed the site and made some safe guards that means the site can go in a number of ways after Home, but what way that will be and if it will be i can not be sure on, because we need to see what the future holds.
